Been A While

It has been a little while since I posted. After my daughters surgery and then a 5 day stay in the hospital with my husband after having chest pains, we are settling down. Thanks to everyone who purchased items to help. I have been in touch with you all and your items are on the way shortly. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

I have been sewing like a mad woman the past couple of days. Boy have I missed my sewing machine!!

I found this tutorial of how to make a Dish Rug. I made 4.

Remember the Beefing up the Stash post?? Here are the blacks, whites, and grey's this lady already had cut.

I sewed them together and here is what I got, then bordered with red.

I also pieces this backing out of all the red fabric pieces I received.

Been busy here!! Now trying to catch up on some swaps. That's the goal and will post more as I finish!!

I Spy a Quilt Finished!!!

Finally finished the I Spy quilt I started back before my shoulder surgery in December. I followed this Tutorial. It was a really cool way to make a really cute quilt. I started out with 6.5in blocks and cut them into 4 smaller blocks and use those to make the 9 patches.

Celtic Knot

I have been trying to find the different quilts I have made over the past few years so that I could take pictures of them to show here. I want a way of remembering all the hard work. Here is a Celtic Knot that took me a year to piece. Every block is 2.5 inches. I used a dark blue, light blue, two blacks, and several whites or white on whites.

This quilt is a king size. I have only one wall that I could hang this on to get a picture, but due to furniture, etc, I could not take a straight on picture. Wish this was better so you could see it better.
