Pincushion Swaps

The Facebook group called For the Love of Scraps also did a pincushion swap, here it the gift I received from Jenn.

She sent a cute, cute, cute strawberry pincushion, a tissue pack and this Mason jar lid pincushion.

So I took the lid and made my own grab and go quick repair kit.

I put the lid on a mason jar filled with all those little tiny thread spools that you somehow end up with through the years. I put some pins and a couple of needles on the top and now I can grab this jar and do small quick repair. Soooo Nice!

I was introduced to a website that apparently has been around for a while. I don't know how I haven't come across it in all the web surfing I do. Anyway, the name of the website it There all kinds of swaps and block exchanges, even an area for selling or trading. An virtual wealth of information and friends can be found here. My first swap I joined was the pincushion swap.

These are the pincushions I made to swap. Flip Flops.

Here is the first pincushion I received with a cute little matching needle-book.

This is the second cushion I received. Looks like a flower to me. I love it!
